I’m back in New Zealand! & How You Can Be Your Own Psychic

I arrived back in New Zealand on Saturday.  It was so wonderful to get back and although I left some great friends behind in Brisbane, I wasn’t sorry to leave.  I stayed with my brother on Saturday night and then went up to Blenheim to stay with my mother which is where I’m at right now.

I have been moving around for the last nine years of my life and have never spent more than ten months in one place.  I have lived in France, Spain, UK, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand. I decided to move back to New Zealand for good and to commit to getting residency here because it is such a beautiful country and also because my family moved here several years ago (without me). I was at University in the UK at the time.

In order to get residency, in nine months time, I will need to train and work as a teacher, teaching secondary school kids.  It is expected to take me two years before I can get residency here and I am also bracing myself for the fact that it will cost an enormous amount of money to do, as I am an overseas student.

Arriving back in New Zealand, I experienced all kinds of different emotions – one of them was grief.  I felt a sense of loss and saying goodbye to an old way of life.  I have been a gypsy for several years – non-committal, always with a way out, free and with no ties.  Plus I have very mixed feelings about investing in a profession I’m not entirely sure I want to take up full-time long-term (especially as the professional psychic thing is going so well), but I know it is something I must do if I am going to get to live here long-term and actually put down some roots.

This also means an entirely different way of doing business for me.  Much of my time is spent doing readings with people one-on-one. It is clear that realistically I will not be able to work more than a couple of hours a day on my business in 2011 so this year I will be changing the way I spend my time and work with clients.

For some months now I have been working on a product ‘Be Your Own Psychic’ – teaching people to read for themselves and tune into spirit.  The material in this course I have been teaching to people for the last six months. It was due to launch in December but I overestimated my capacity to move to Australia, set up home there and finish the product at the same time, so it remained unfinished.

I was planning to make the product into something you buy and then work at, at your own pace, with no added support.

I reconsidered that format and decided that what I enjoy most is to have contact with people and help them progress, so the product will be a membership site, which means you pay over a period of 14 weeks and get a lesson once a week, with homework.  The site will be text and audio, with guided meditations to help you in each chapter.  You can also pay in one go, get all the material at once and work at a faster pace if you choose.  I will price it initially at $200, paid over the course of 14 weeks.  It is due to launch on 5th April.

The site will have a forum where I will answer questions personally and some support calls where you can phone in once every two weeks to ask any questions you have.

The content of the course will be as follows:

Week One: Introduction to your unique psychic abilities – laying the groundwork – knowing what you can ask and what you may not get answers to.

Week Two: The first essential key to connecting with spirit: raising vibration – How to raise your vibration temporarily to ‘tune in’.

Week Three: Becoming acquainted with all the ways in which spirit talks to you, establishing what your unique gifts are and eliminating unrealistic expectations of how your higher self and spirit guides communicate with you.

Week Four:  How to awaken the four clairs – clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance.

Week Five:  The second essential key to connecting with spirit: stillness – how to become still enough to connect with your spirit guides and higher self – an attunement to stillness to eliminate distractions (you will love this if your mind is very chatty).

Week Six: How to open your energy field (chakras) to receive information, in this week we clear out any blocks to your intuition and learn how to close chakras – with guided meditation.

Week Seven:  We put all the previous weeks’ work together and you learn a process that professional psychics use to tune into their own spirit guides and clients’ spirit guides – with a guided meditation.

Week Eight: The answers you get from your guides are only as good as the questions you ask!  Why you have to ask questions – How to ask questions of your spirit guides and higher self that actually get answers; how to word your questions appropriately.

Week Nine: A process that WORKS for using your intuition to make wise decisions and choices

Week Ten: Finding out your own life purpose without the help of a psychic.

Week Eleven: How to accurately and ethically read other people to gauge their intentions, integrity and character.

Week Twelve: Troubleshooting: how to tell intuitive information from your ego, logic or imagination.  How to overcome a fear of spirits.  How to overcome self-doubt and a fear of being judged as ‘crazy’ for being interested in psychic stuff!

Week Thirteen: Reading for other people – testing out your abilities on friends and family.

Week Fourteen: Further ways of connecting with spirit – including automatic writing, talking to your chakras, intuitive brainstorming – in case you wanted more ways!

I will be offering a free 20 minute private consultation for the first 10 people who sign up for the membership site.  If you would like to be one of those ten people, please send me your name and email address via the contact form and as soon as the membership site opens, you will get an email notifying you straight away.

How this Product Came About

I have to say that most of the material in this course is not mine.  That doesn’t mean I stole it.  I actually channelled it from other peoples’ spirit guides.  You may know that I have been teaching the 6 week spirit guides coaching course for the last six months.   To date I have worked with dozens of people and of course, worked with dozens of spirit guides, who, through me, teach the client to connect to their guides and higher self.

That’s right!  I sit down with the client once a week, connect to their spirit guides and download a lesson for the client to do, with homework.

After a while, I began to notice the same lessons coming up over and over.  Everyone struggled with the same things.  Themes emerged.  And that is how this product came about.  I am really proud of it as I believe that it tackles the nuts and bolts, the “How-to” of psychic development in a really detailed, structured, thorough way, that gets results and makes sense. I have also made it as easy and as ‘down-to-earth’ as possible, thanks to everyone’s spirit guides!

As always please leave a comment if you have any questions and don’t forget to send me your email via the contact form if you want to be on the early-bird list of people who get a free consultation.

PS – If you would like to become an affiliate of my membership site, I will be offering a 50% commission (that’s $100) for each time you recommend it to family, friends and clients (and make a sale), so if you have a popular blog, or you work with clients who want to know how to tune into their own spiritual guidance and you are interested in recommending it, please get in touch.

Great to hear you are all moved back now Anna and thank you for sharing what is going on for you. It sounds like you have quite a change coming up becoming a teacher! I am sure you will be great … you are already a teacher with regards to your psychic work so I am sure you will handle it brilliantly.

I too was a bit of a gypsy for a long time, till I was about 29 really. I am really enjoying being in one place now …I never thought I’d say that, but I live in a beautiful place and haven’t had itchy feet really since being here… I guess I was ready for it at that time. I haven’t been to NZ but I have heard fantastic things about it. I look forward to hearing more about your new adventures!

Great youre back Anna. Teaching doesn’t seem that far away from what youre doing now. Im sure youll get something out of it, and once you get your residency you can do what you want. How come they dont automtically give it to you since your parents got it?

Hi Jen, thanks. I used to be a teacher too before I set up my business so it won’t be too alien! I didn’t teach teenagers though before.

Kate – I am not able to get residency through my family in NZ because you have to have 100% of all siblings and parents in NZ. It used to be that you only needed 50% or more of your family here but they changed that. I have four brothers and one of them still lives in the UK and isn’t coming here so I will have to get residency through the skilled migrant way.

  4. I’ll promote your course on my Blog. Hit me up via email with details please.
